The short version

This website sets no tracking cookies and uses no advertising networks, no third-party analytics and no fingerprinting. If you accept, we record which page you visited and the approximate place your IP address resolves to — country, state and city — on our own server, with nobody else involved. If you decline, nothing at all is recorded.

What is stored in your browser

Both are local storage rather than cookies, which means they stay in your browser and are never transmitted with your requests. Neither identifies you.

What we record on our server

Only if you accept, and only one entry per page you open:

Your IP address is never written down. It is resolved to those three values in memory and then discarded. The referrer is reduced to a hostname, because a full URL can carry your search terms. There is no identifier of any kind in the record, so two visits by you are indistinguishable from visits by two different people.

The lookup uses a database stored on our own server — DB-IP Lite, licensed CC-BY 4.0. Your address is not sent to any external service.

The resolution is approximate and we would rather say so than imply precision we do not have. Country is near-certain; state is right about 80% of the time in India; city closer to two thirds, and mobile traffic often resolves to your operator's gateway city rather than where you actually are. Nothing narrower than a city — no district, no street, no coordinates — is obtainable from an IP address, and we never ask your browser for its location.

Changing your mind

You can withdraw or grant consent at any time. It takes effect immediately and, if you decline, nothing further is sent.

Third parties

The only external resources this website loads are two typefaces — Plus Jakarta Sans and JetBrains Mono — from Google Fonts, which serves font files and sets no cookies. Nothing else is loaded from anyone else — no tag manager, no analytics script, no embedded video, no chat widget from a vendor.

Contact form

What you type into the contact form is sent to us by email and to our own workflow tool so we can reply. That is separate from anything on this page and is covered by our Privacy Policy.

The ErgoLIMS application

The application itself, including the demo at dev.ergolims.com, uses strictly necessary session cookies for login. Those are covered in the product documentation and your customer agreement, not by this website policy.
